Fake iPhones - iPhone Copycats

The Apple iPhone is one of the newest and most sophisticated products to hit the cell phone market in recent times. Of course, as with so many popular products, many fake iPhones can now be found in the market as people try to make other cell phones look like iPhones. These fake iPhones, however, are merely iPhone knockoffs even though they look like the real thing. They may function in the same way as an iPhone, but they do not have the fantastic features and great service that accompany the real iPhone.

The i-Mobile is one such iPhone knockoff. The i-Mobile features a 1.8 inch touchscreen and a two megapixel camera. These features are the same as those found on the real iPhone. However, the appearance of the i-Mobile is very different from that of the real iPhone as the i-Mobile can best be described as resembling an iPod instead of an iPhone. All in all, the i-Mobile is simplly a GSM 900/1800 phone that also features a touchscreen and handwriting recognition.

The Deeda Pi Phone is another iPhone knockoff that is of some interest. It features a large 3.6 inch screen that has a resolution of 800 X 480. This phone also provides Bluetooth capabilities and Wi-Fi technology. Both of these features can also be found on the real iPhone. Vibration alert and a proximity based touchscreen are also part of the Deeda Pi Phone's features. While the external appearance of this phone somewhat resembles that of the real iPhone, its features and functions are not comparably to those of the actual iPhone.

The Fujian Huamin and Export Company's iPhone knockoff is the other fake iPhone on the market worthy of note. It possesses features similar to those of a real iPhone, and its logo is even similar to Apple's. It does not, however, have all the features that are included in the actual iPhone.

Although the three iPhone knockoffs mentioned above function well and have adequate features, they cannot be compared to the functionality and the features of the real iPhone. There are a great deal more features and functions in the real iPhone, and it also comes with service and support that these other fake iPhones do not have.

Therefore, although fake iPhones are becoming more common and some of them have features to rival those of the real iPhone, they are still not as desirable as the actual iPhone because of various difficulties that users will face. No matter how many fake iPhones are produced and no matter how good they are, the Apple iPhone will still be the better phone that consumers prefer.
